Each year we do various activities, which you aren’t required to participate in. Our annual potluck is held on the Saturday evening, and Duffy deep fries a turkey. Campers are usually asked to bring something to contribute if you wish to participate.
We try and do a float each year depending on the weather. Campers have done either the Penticton Canal which is extremely relaxing and calm, vs a more exciting route down the River in Keremeos. Tickleberries is also popular in the area, and everyone usually tries going down at least once for hand crafted ice cream. New last year, everyone went and visited the observatory which was very exciting to see! Some years, campers have offered their DJ’ing services to host a dance. We don’t have any of our own gear, however, if you wish to offer your services please reach out! Some of our campers are also Ham Radio furs, feel free to ask them about their gear.
