Please be sure to read and accept our acceptable use policy as there have been items which have been updated, and is important for everyone to follow. If you fail to abide by these guidelines, you may result in being asked to leave and forfeit your registration. You will be required to acknowledge and sign the AUP before proceeding with your registration

General Conduct: Please use common sense and respect others’ right to enjoy the event. Remember that any activity which is illegal outside the event is still illegal inside the event. Event Staff may ask you to stop an activity or take it to a private area. Repeat offenders may be required to leave the event. Please also note that the event staff retains the right to deny entry to anyone and that you can be asked to leave at any time without warning or particular infraction to these stated rules of conduct.

Media Policy: As per our policy, the staff has decided not to allow ANY media coverage at the event without PRIOR approval. Attendees purchasing a membership agree not to act as media agents in any way, shape, or form while attending our event. Making photographic, audio or video recordings of any camping event for investigative or commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.

Campsite: As a camping attendee, you are a guest of the campsite and must abide by the camp host rules and policies whenever you are on the premises. If you are expelled from the campsite for violation of their rules, you immediately forfeit your event membership. You are responsible for any damage you cause to camp property. The event space and public spaces within the campsite are not sleeping areas. This includes public restrooms.

Harassment and Assault: Harassment is defined as any behavior that intentionally annoys or alarms another person. This includes making any unwanted physical contact, following someone around a public area without a legitimate reason, or threatening to physically attack someone. Please remember that if you approach someone and they tell you “no” or to leave them alone, your business with them is done. If you do not leave them alone as they have requested, your actions may be grounds for a complaint of harassment. If you feel that you are being harassed, or you have been assaulted, please report the matter immediately to event security.

Smoking:  Please avoid the use of smoking in and around the public areas of the campsite.  This includes the use of marijuana, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and all other paraphernalia.  If you need to exercise these activities, please go well away from the camp ground and ensure you’re only extinguishing your ashes in a safe manner.  The summer is an extremely hot and dry time of year for this area, and if there is a fire ban in place a single improperly extinguished butt can cause severe forest fires.  There is no fire protection for this area, so ensure you’re mindful of your surroundings.  Help is a LONG way away.

Campfires and Fireworks:  If there is a province wide campfire ban, a group propane fire pit will be used. If you are caught lighting any type of fire, you will be asked to leave the event.

Fireworks are a major fire hazard, dangerous AND will not be permitted.  If we encounter the use of fireworks, you will be asked to leave at your expense and FOREFIT your registration for remainder of the event.  There is no fire protection for this area, so ensure you’re mindful of your surroundings.  Help is a LONG way away.

Pets:  While we encourage that you bring your fuzzy companions, please ensure they are LEASHED at all times, and under your control.   Others may not want your pet wandering around their site causing a hazard while they’re trying to cook, or do other activities.  Fursuiters have extremely limited vision, and if they’re on the dance floor could trip over them and cause injury to themselves or your pet.  All pets must be approved prior to arrival as the host has their own dog.  The camp host will have the final say if your pet is allowed to come to the event.

Hiking:  Please ensure that you avoid going up onto the ridge behind the campsite at all times unless you’ve been granted permission by the host.  It’s dangerous up in that area as its extremely steep, and serious injury could occur.

Group Event Outings:  While we are out in public off site in a group, please ensure that you respect the businesses that you enter.  If you see a large line, please avoid queue jumping and wait patiently like everyone else.  Otherwise, we may not allow you to come with the group again in the future.

Weapons: Blade weapons such as daggers and swords are acceptable provided they have been secured in such a way that they obviously cannot be drawn – or to be used only in a re-creation event sanctioned by the event staff. Firearms of any type are strictly prohibited from this event.

Underage Members: Minors under the age of 18 will not be permitted at this event without event staff & parental permission.

Violations and Appeals: Violation of these policies will be handled by Event Staff as deemed appropriate on a case by case basis. Attendees with multiple violations may be asked to exit the event. Violations may be appealed to the Event Staff and all decisions by Event Staff are final
